I have been through a good bit of the curriculum and have found only one real issue; this is a blessing in disguise.
The Math 9 course covers both Algebra 2 and Precalculus. However the lessons take much longer to complete than the Math 11 Precalculus course. If you are think you are strong in algebra, take a second to question that. This course prepared me to pass the Algebra CLEP test after studying the wrong material (my fault). If you still need to learn algebra, this method could get you TWO YEARS AHEAD with barely any extra effort. If you have already taken algebra and are looking to thoroughly learn precalculus at an extremely rapid pace take the Math 11 course. This is my own recommendation, from my own experience.
Math 8: Algebra 1
Math 9: Algebra 2 & Precalculus
Math 10: Geometry & Trigonometry
Math 11: Precalculus
Math 12: Calculus
MY RECOMMENDED ORDER
Math 8: Algebra 1
Math 10: Geometry (FAST!)
Math 9a: Algebra 2
Math 9b: Precalculus
Math 12: Calculus
Take Math 8, which is basic algebra (common core teaches this in 9th grade–mistake). Make sure you thoroughly understand the concepts, then move on to geometry (Math 10) immediately with no summer break. The lessons are more efficient than anything I’ve ever seen, and take barely any time to complete. But once again, it is very important to make sure you understand everything very well. Go through this course FAST (about twice as fast as normal), and once again, don’t take a summer break (if you went fast, it would actually be winter). When you finish this, move on to Math 9 (algebra 2 & precalc). Take your time on this one. There are a lot of very important concepts you should thoroughly understand. You will be doing Calculus next.
